​Coconut water is produced naturally in the fruit and contains 94% water and very little fat. 
One cup contains 46 calories, as well as: Carbs: 9 grams. Fiber: 3 grams. Protein: 2 grams. Vitamin C: 10% of the RDI. Magnesium: 15% of the RDI. Manganese: 17% of the RDI. Potassium: 17% of the RDI. Sodium: 11% of the RDI. Calcium: 6% of the RDI.

The health benefits of coconut water include:
  • Contains antioxidants that modify free radicals so they no cause harm.
  • Reduces blood pressure, triglycerides and insulin levels.
  • May help prevent kidney stones by keeping calcium crystals from sticking to the kidneys and other parts of the urinary tract. It also reduced the number of crystals formed in the urine.
  • Coconut water may reduce cholesterol and triglyceride levels (drank for a long period of time).

Coconut milk is known as one of the world's healthiest foods and it is considered it has been considered a “miracle liquid” by ancient cultures. Coconut milk builds up the body’s immune defenses and prevent disease. Other health benefits of coconut milk include:

  • Can lower cholesterol levels, improve blood pressure, and prevent heart attacks or a stroke. 
  • Builds Muscle and Helps Lose Fat by increasing energy expenditure. The fat in coconut milk also makes you fill full, therefore it prevents you from overeating.
  • Improves Digestion and Relieves Constipation.
  • Provides Electrolytes and Prevents Fatigue. Coconut milk provides important minerals (not as much as coconut water) needed to maintain blood volume, regulate heart health, and prevent dehydration or diarrhea.
  • Manages Blood Sugar and Controls Diabetes. The fat content of coconut milk can slow the rate at which sugar is released into the bloodstream.
  • Provides a source of plant-based iron.
  • Coconut milk can help reduce the occurrence of ulcers.
  • Since full-fat coconut milk (the one in the cans) is high in calories, be mindful of how much you drink at a time. It’s better you have a smaller servings such as 1/4–1/2 cup.

Coconut vinegar is similar to other fermented vinegars such as apple cider and balsamic vinegars. Coconut vinegar is white and cloudy with a very pungent acidic taste. Some of the health benefits of coconut vinegar are:

How to Make Myrrh Infused Oil

​This is a great oil to use on its own, with essential oils, or to add to ointments and salves. It is anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, astringent and expectorant.

​Ingredients: 
​
​4oz Myrrh resin
1 Mason jar (quart size)
Any carrier oil, such as apricot, olive or almond
paper towel
Crock-pot or a double broiler

​​Directions:
1. Place the resin in mason jar
2. Fill jar with the carrier oil and place the paper towel over the top and secure with the rim
3. Place the jar on a crock-pot with enough water to cover 1/4 of the jar or a double broiler.
4. Keep the jar on the warmer for a minimum of 12 hours
5. Place the jar in dark place and let it sit for 2 to 6 weeks.
6) Strain the oil and place in a dark jar with a lid.
Keep in a cool place away from sunlight or heat
