An essential step towards healing your body from autoimmune disorders and other chronic illness is to learn how to manage negative emotions. In particular, anxiety, resentment, anger, criticism, depression, and guilt have a damaging effect on our health. So much, that new scientific discoveries are now classifying unforgiveness as a disease. Ouch!

According to Dr. Steven Standiford, chief of surgery at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, refusing to forgive makes people sick and keeps them ill. As a result, forgiveness therapy is now being 
used to help treat diseases, such as cancer. Standiford explains that "It's important to treat emotional wounds or disorders because they really can hinder someone's reactions to the treatments, even someone's willingness to pursue treatment." Reduce Anxiety by Listing to Positive Music First Thing in the Morning

True happiness and inner peace are not automatic. Authentic lasting happiness and inner peace come from making a conscious choice to be happy on a consistent basis, regardless of the circumstances that surround us. Therefore, by performing one or two intentional activities daily, such as the one mentioned in this post you can reduce anxiety, make improvements in your enduring levels of happiness and overcome hedonic adaptation. ​
This is one of my favorite exercises to start the day in a positive light, it comes from Pam Grout’s book E3 (E cube). It is a straightforward and quick exercise that only takes a few minutes: All you have to do is first thing in the morning listen to one or more of these songs (all easily accessible on your phone):
