How to use essential oils to raise your vibration

8/5/2019

This is the last post on the essential oil series for the summer. I thought it was worth talking about the impact that essential oils have on your vibrations. If you are familiar with the Law of attraction, you know how important it is to hold a positive state of mind to attract favorable circumstances into your life.
Emotions generate a different frequency, and a person vibrates accordingly to the feelings

he or she experiences most often. Chronic anger, depression, anxiety, worry, jealousy, and all the other negative emotions generate a low frequency (vibration). Love, joy, and peace produce positive vibrations in your body.
Your vibration is impacted by everything around you through the principle of entrainment. Entrainment is the inclination for two oscillating bodies to lock into phase so that they vibrate in harmony.  I mean everything from the food you eat to the people that are around you either raise or lower your vibration.
Second, scent has a powerful effect on our moods. For example, if you walk into a room that features a pleasant smell, you are more likely to be a good mood. Studies have found certain aromas can affect mood by eliciting a muscle-relaxing effect and can reduce stress in individuals. Scent also been demonstrated to affect people's work performance, behavior, stress reduction, sleep enhancement, self-confidence, and physical and cognitive performance.
Therefore, by using essential oils, you can experience positive emotions that will raise your vibration. Consequently, support you in your manifestation process and to attract favorable circumstances into your life.
Here are some of the most common essential oils that affect mood and productivity (they all have medicinal properties).
  • Lemon. Improves concentration and has calming and illuminating properties that are helpful when you're feeling angry, anxious, or run down. I love lemon and lime essential oils, they bring joy into my life. Plus they make great disinfectants.
  • Lavender. A favorite scent of many people, it is calming and helps manage emotional stress. Lavender has a soothing effect on nerves and can relieve nervous tension and depression.
  • Jasmine. Used to calm nerves and is also commonly used as an anti-depressant because of its uplifting properties that produce a feeling of confidence, optimism, and revitalized energy.
  • Rosemary. Improves memory retention, rosemary also has stimulating properties that fight physical exhaustion and mental fatigue.
  • Cinnamon. It is stimulating, can help fight mental fatigue and improve concentration and focus.
  • Peppermint. It helps boost energy; this scent invigorates the mind, promotes concentration, and stimulates clear thinking.
  • Geranium rose. Relieves anxiety, insomnia, and depression. Helps to level out mood swings and to increase positive feelings and works as a natural sedative.
Many other essential oils can help improve your mood and reduce anxiety and stress. These essential oils include but are not limited to frankincense, roman chamomile, ylang-ylang, patchouli, lime helichrysum, cardamom, bergamot, and the rest of the citrus.
However, scent does not work like a drug. It does force you to experience a feeling. Instead, the majority of scents work through our associations and experiences with them. That is, for a scent to elicit a response in you, you have first to learn to associate it with some event. While people within a culture often share common associations with scents, based on your life experience only you know what scents help you feel good.
That is why it is pointless for me to list all the essential oils that improve mood here. Whatever essential oil scent makes you feel good is the right essential oil for you.
Therefore, by becoming more aware of the way specific odors affect you personally, you may be able to enhance your health and well-being.
