That’s why I thought we’d introduce the idea of ‘mantras’ this month. A mantra does not have to be part of religious or spiritual practice (though many religions do use them during prayer). However, a mantra, in its most basic form, is simply a word or phrase that is repeated to aid with concentration, re-centering, or focus. Buddhists and Hindus use them in prayer, many top athletes use them in training, successful entrepreneurs have used them to inspire them to start their day, and there is no reason why you can’t, too! Remember, you become what you think about the most, and so when you repeat your mantra to yourself, you are reminding yourself to maintain your positivity and not to give up. For best results, repeat this mantra several times a day, no need to wait until times are hard to use this technique.
