Humans can feel so many different emotions, but the feeling of love is perhaps the most powerful – probably because there’s so much passion wrapped up in it that love can make us act differently than we usually might. When many of us think of “love” we think about how to love others – but during the next few weeks, I'm going to be talking about the importance of loving yourself as well. One way to love yourself is by making self-care a must in your daily routine. The term “self-care” is thrown around a lot, but what exactly does it mean? Self-care is the practice of taking an active role and making a priority protecting one’s well-being and happiness, in particular during times of stress. Whatever that care is, care means different things for different people, but it generally, it falls into the following categories:
There are many ways you can choose to self-care. The idea is that you take the time to do it daily.
