NOTE: This tea is not recommended if you have gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), or hiatal hernia. According to the university of Meryland Peppermint can relax the sphincter between the stomach and esophagus, allowing stomach acids to flow back into the esophagus.
SUGGESTED USE:
Bring two cups of water to boil, lower heat and place ½ oz (see size sample inside the bag) of herb mixture in the water (you may place the herbs directly in the water or in a large muslin bag). Covered with tight lid. Continue on low boil for at least 20 minutes. Strain and drink the tea, you may lightly sweeten with honey, agave, maple syrup or stevia. In order to simplify process you can make up to 3 days of tea at a time (1 ½ oz of herb to 48 oz of water).
